"A group of women are hanging in a fetal position in a hammock during an aerial yoga class."
I read the above in David Attenborough's deliciously British voice, then I remembered that you're Australian...and now I'm too tired to be either funny or culturally-enlightened.
Hide and Seek - Imogen Heap < Insanely good song. Great piece.
You should try float tanks! Seems to fit in with your adventurous willingness to try different stuff in pursuit of health! And it's easier than hanging upside down...and you can sleep.
Here's a fun article I wrote about them...that was then stolen and rewritten (under a penname, with my face in it) by my old employers :)
That's terrible that they stole your article! I've thought about trying sensory deprivation tanks, but haven't as yet. I reckon I'd have a strong reaction either way -- love or hate.
Okay, so I wanna know which K-Pop you're mainlining as my tween twins are obsessed with Black Pink and are a little over-excited over the prospect of an Australian tour!? OMG, if i don't get alerted about tickets I think I'll be very disappointed too. #VeryCatchyTunes
I am a casual fan of Blackpink, but I'm especially into the boy bands:
1. BTS
2. Monsta X
3. Stray Kids
I also quite like Pentagon and on the girl group side, I'm feeling Aespa, Itzy, and (G)-Idle lately. I'm going to see Stray Kids in Melbs on their Aussie tour next year. Super excited!
I was in Melbourne this week and my young grandson Connor brought over a blue stuffed lizard which he has aptly named "Lizzie" and told me that it was a comfort toy and that I should seriously consider buying one! He insisted that I pet this blue creature with beady eyes whilst he watched my every move to ensure that I had the hang of how to pet her and whether what he was telling me had true merit. My two older grandchildren have a Cavoodle named Alfie, whom we have one day a week whilst his parents work and the older grandchildren are at school. I admit to missing Alfie and Lizzie was a super substitute when I looked into her glassy brown eyes, coincidentally the same shade as Alfie's. Food for thought people, especially when one hits the high numbers! As yet I am abstaining from buying my own "Lizzie" and will stick to Alfie. Please don't tell Connor. Best wishes Helen M.
Haha, "Lizzie" the lizard -- sounds like Connor names his toys similarly to how I did at that age. Much easier not to forget what you've named your toys then! : )
Have you thought about writing picture books, Helen? I reckon you'd be a natural at it. The Australian Writers' Centre runs an online course in it or Writers SA would have some advice, I reckon.
Thanks my darling Bec, I thought of writing one about Belle, who is nearly 15, an old puss, now, when he first startled me at my clothesline, meowing at my feet and lost . I might reconsider and go for it. Never thought I would be good enough - story of my life! Thanks Bec.

Thanks, David. Aerial hammock is kinda tough, but makes up for it with floatiness and fun.

Hi Rebecca, loving the newsletter! I might have missed this somewhere, but are you compiling any of your selections into a Spotify playlist?
I haven't as yet, but I'm kind of loving this as an idea!
Doing a hot girl walk this afternoon -- thanks for a hot idea. Hide and Seek is my fave yoga flow tune. So many cool ideas here
Haha, that's awesome! Hopefully you made lots of plans for world takeover. : )
