Merry 25 December, I need a break, and see you in 2024

Wishing you the most not-terrible Christmas possible!

How are you holding up as we count down the hours to 25 December? Did you do much swearing and cleaning like I did today while listening to a medley of carols?

As demonstrated by the fact I’m skating in at the last minute before Christmas to assure you I’m still alive and haven’t forgotten I write a Substack, I truly need a break. So I’m wishing you a joyful time tomorrow, or for those who find this time of year painful: a tolerable time, at least. Do whatever you need to do to make it as healthy and happy as you can. You do you.

I look forward to returning to you in 2024 re-energised and ready to make Becks and the City even more fun and funky and full of delight.

In the meantime, relax, eat all the pudding, and enjoy the end of the year.
